How are you doing on your weight gain?

Now that we're well into the second trimester the suggested weight gain is slightly over 1 pound a week. I know that's right about what I've been doing for the last 3 weeks. At this rate I'll be the same weight I was when my daughter was born probably around 175ish just shy of 180. My average non pregnancy weight is around 160 so that keeps me in the normal range.

I'm checking in to see how everyone else is doing with their weight gain. I know for some of us it can be hard to put the pounds on and even harder to make sure we don't gain too much.

I'm already looking forward to losing the weight after the baby is born!

I have been doing good I was really worried that the weight was going to keep escalating especially because they say that you are supposed to gain a pound every week in the 3rd trimester, but I have been holding tight at 160, which means I have gained 25 lbs.  I will not be surprised though if I do end up going up another 5 lbs.

The baby is still growing and is super strong, with this one I am actually being bent over on some of the kicks it gives me which I never was like that with the other two and the position it's in is virtually the same, so interesting indeed.  This one is going to crawl out of the womb.

okay, so i'm at 31 weeks now and have already gained 25lbs. a little less than 9 weeks to go. let's hope my weight doesn't balloon like crazy from now until then. i'm trying to cut back on all the sweet stuff i've been indulging the last few months, so i guess it's all healthy stuff from here on out. i really want to try to keep this baby at a normal weight (6-7lbs) since i'm tiny to begin with. i guess we'll see... :)
