Got induced Monday and baby is here !
At 39 weeks and 2 days (due date 10/25) I went in at 6am Monday oct 20th in the morning to be induced. They started me on pitocin around 7ish and just upped the dose every 30 min and that got my contractions going. Around 9 or 10 my ob broke my water. Everything happened so fast! At 2 the contractions were coming every 30 seconds so I asked for an epidural even though I was 7cm dilated. After that kicked in I was a full 10 around 3. Once my ob got back and everything got set up I pushed my daughter out in what seemed like 10 pushes and had her at 3:51pm. I did get stitches but they weren't as bad as with my first. I have an almost 3 year old son and I'm so happy to have my daughter join the family. She was 8 lbs 13 oz and 20 in long !!
