Hi girls due 24th oct just want to know what to expect in the irish system.

Im going to holles street on monday for my first (booking) apt. Im hoping to get an ultra sound or at least here babys heart beat and anyone tell me if i will get these??

It's a wonderful feeling, we had an early scan cuz we had a scare, it's brilliant seeing that little heartbeat fluttering. Can't wait for my scan next week, very nervous tho cuz I had a miscarriage in October. Were u waiting long?

Im from Limerick got an ultrasound at my first app. :)

Thanks yeah i have the letter and it says ill do the usual test (bloods and pee) but says nothing about a scan

I don't have my 1st app until the 29th April in waterford. But talking to other mums I think you'd have blood tests and a scan done, I think.
