We saw the heart beat for the first time at 6weeks 6 days and we go back again on the 17th. I will be 10weeks and 6 days. If everything goes well then, we plan on telling everyone. It's our first so we are just too excited to keep it a secret. Plus I feel that people don't talk about miscarriages enough. It is a very serious reality that happens a lot more often then people talk about, so if something bad does happen, we feel we would want the support.

We've told our families at 5 weeks and a best friend each. Everyone of those people know of our previous struggles and we will need support no matter the outcome. Other friends and family will wait until 10 weeks and we will filter it out slowly....everyone else will wait until 12 weeks+

I am waiting for 12 weeks - with the exception of 3 close friends who knew about our difficulties conceiving and are going through or experienced the same issues. I'm just over 7 weeks and we saw and heart baby's heartbeat last week, everything looks good, but it took two year's to get here and I just turned 38 so I'm still no comfortable announcing. It's hard not to tell our families at least, but the only people I'd want to share news of a miscarriage with are my close friends, so that's set the standard. Just had to fake my way through a family party toting around a mostly empty glass of wine that I never actually drank - sharpening my acting skills!

I announced pretty much immediately.
I had a miscarriage last year and it killed me that my angel baby isn't known by many. I wanted to announce as soon as possible. I've received an overwhelming amount of love and support from friends.

I'm waiting until I hear my little one's heartbeat. I announced last year before I heard a heart beat n had a miscarriage, so this time I'm being more reluctant
