My husband is a huge jerky lover. So much ao that we purchased our own dryer. I love it too so Ive had our homemade stuff a couple times but due to TMJ it irritates my jaw more then its worth. With the store bought Jerky look at the ingredients including the nitrates, sodium, and other preservatives and just make sure its on the more natural side! Theres alot of protein in beef jerky though which is good!!

You may want to ask your doctor. Jerky has a lot of sodium and preservatives, so because of that, they may want you to  limit how much you eat. But it's not one of the foods that show up on those lists of "things not to eat while pregnant."

Was it store-bought? If so, it should be fine.

Keep in mind that most websites warn against lunch meat, but plenty of women eat cold lunch meat with no problem.

I don't think that this is something you should worry about.
