My favourite baby shower activity is decorating babygrows. Get lots of plain baby vests/grows and some fabric pens and all the guests can personalise one for the new arrival! :)

So exciting! I'm planning the baby shower with my mom and I am playing 12 games 1 game for every letter of my baby's name! Feel free to try out these:

1. How many pins can you grab? on a piece of rope hang clothes pins and have each player try to grap as many pins with one hand with out droping any of the pins they already grabbed the one with the most wins!

2. Dirty Diaper: I'm not a fan of this one but most of my guests want to play it. Get like 6 to 8 diapers and melt chocolate on them the one to get it right wins. if their is a tie rock paper scissors.

3. Baby name Scramble: Hand out a sheet of paper with your baby's first and middle name at the top give your guests 2 minutes to spell as many words as they can with just those letters. the one with the most wins!

4. Pins in rice: Grab a bowl and fill it with rice and mix in small safety pins have each guest use one hand to grab a hand full the one with the most pins wins!

5. Pin Drop: Give those playing a small jar and have them place it in between there feet have them stand and hold a Clothes pin under their chin first one to make it into the jar wins!

6.Pass the box: Great game! Wrap a gift up with tons of layers of wrapping paper and have each guest remove one layer as the box gets to them the person to remove the last layer wins!

7. Guess the baby food: Get baby food remove lables and have each person guess all the baby food (try using like 4 or 5) the person to get the most right wins!

8. Baby Bump: Walk around with ribbon or toilet paper and have each guest get as much ribbon or toilet paper they feel will measure around mommy's belly. closest one wins!

9.Pin the baby on mommy: You can buy the game online or do one yourself. I will be printing a 16 x 20 image of myself with baby bump and there will be a circle where they need to pin the baby. Blind fold guest and the one who pins it or is close to pinning it wins.

10. Dont drop the baby: Fill up water balloons with plastic babies last team to not drop their water balloon wins! (Baby shower is in august water games keep fresh and are fun!)

11. Bottle Race: Fill up bottles with beer or liquor your choices first to finish wins!

12.Gift bingo: Pass out empty bingo cards have the guest fill them out with the gifts they think you will receive in the middle box they can write in their gift. Once you start opening presents have them start marking the boxes as you open presents first to call out BINGO wins!

Sorry I know its alot but great to have options!

You can do some guessing games. Guess the size of the bump, guess the exact birth date/baby weight/ gender (if you don't know. Ask people to bring a baby pic of themselves and everyone has to guess who is who.

We played s funny game at a friend of mine's shower where we got some newborn nappies and filled them with food items and made her guess what they were!!! We used banana mashed with chocolate spread, peanut butter, caramel...things like that. It was hilarious and yes, it horrified some of the guests but only initially and everyone had a good laugh about it!!

@ cadosanjos, one year I went to a baby shower and most of her guests didn't know each other nor did she have games, and even though the food was amazing, it was very awkward to just sit there and talk to the only 1 or 2 people that each of us knew. After about an hr I and a lot of others where ready to go. I'm not saying that you have to have games but games does help clear the air and help people interact with the other people at the shower

My family and I decided that we aren't doing games at my shower (on august 2nd). I am also a ftm, due 10/23. Most of them seem kind of lame and there will be a huge variety of people at my shower that don't know one another very well...so I don't want to put them into a position in which they feel obligated to participate in a game with people they don't know. The food and punch will be my biggest attraction for my guests ;) my shower is also only 3 hours long.. so there really isn't any games needed for mine.

"The price is right" make a table with several baby items ex; baby lotion, pack of diapers, baby food, pacifier, bottles etc.... Make an answer sheet of what each item cost and have your guest try and guess how much each item is and calculate everything all together. The closest guess without going over is the winner!

I like to involve both males and females so I always go on pinterest to get great ideas that I wouldn't have thought of.
