Low hcg levels, slowly rising... Is there any hope?

Hi all,

I am trying to have my first child for almost a year. At 12 dpo when i finally had my bfp, it was the happiest moment of my life. But blood tests made me so sad and hopeless. My doctor thinks that I will miscarry:(by the way i had some brown spotting at 12 dpo therefore i am on 3x200 mg progesterone suppositories. And i have lots of pregnancy symptoms.

Here comes my hcg levels:

12 dpo: 44
14 dpo: 81
16 dpo: 126
18 dpo: 186
20 dpo: 290

I had a transvaginal ultrasound and my doctor thinks that my uterine lining looks perfect and most probably it will be a miscarriage instead of ectopic. He also says that i have %5 chance for normal pregnancy:(

What do you think? Is there any hope? Can it be ectopic?

All your comments and experiences will be appreciated. please help:(

Baby dust to all of us.

So your ovulation day was later than the 14th day. As you know the implantantion may happen anytime in the next week or so (it takes a long time to travel down the tube, meet the sperm and find its way to the uterus as a vlastocyst, i think). So you tested and got a positive result way early. If i were you i would do a blood test again in 4-5 days and maybe ask a second opinion! Hope for the best!

Thank you so much for being such helpful & sweet, i really appreciate. I have no cramping or bleeding. My last period was on 16th of January and I ovulated on CD17, it was confirmed with OPK and ultrasound.

Thnks again

Your numbers are rising and that's a good sign.
I'm praying for you though.
If you're cramping and passing clots that's when I'd worry. But I think you'll be okay.

Its difficult not to worry, i know. But the important thing is that your levels are rising even though slowly. The numbers are supposed to be doubling every 48-72 hours. I did some calculations and yours are almost doubling every 72 hours. Just tell me when was your last period so that we can see if the numbers are ok for the week you are. You tested very early i think. Anyway, think good thoughts everything may still work out.
