Completely normal and yes round ligament pain. Work in some light exercising each day. Such as a walk around the block and simple stretching. And drink plenty of water. Tylenol is safe and effective as well as warm baths and showers. Not too hot plz. But honestly exercising and water are the most important. They will tone all those muscles lessen the discomfort. Make for easier labor and delivery and help ur body bounce back faster!
22&2 I have had two different docs tell me it is round ligament pains they drew a pic that explained very well, both the ling time ache and the sharp pains is normal for this time period. I also just take Tylenol sometimes a bath or warm shower and then just they to relax
I have a pain in my right ribs/back that comes and goes randomly. I just take Tylenol and wait it out, not really sure what its from.
20 weeks and a few days and YES! my lower right side as well. It comes and goes and is so sharp and scary when it happens! I was told round ligament pain but its just so scary when it happens because its so sharp and sudden! Im also starting to feel all "achy" in my belly and body. Anyone else the same? Its really bsd when i wake up!
I was just about to say something about this. Happening to me as well on the right, I hear it's round ligament pain although it's lasted several hours. I've also heard to apply a warm compress to it or to lay down.
The only thing that works for me is laying on my left side and propping my belly up with a pillow or blanket.
