Hgc levels dropping?

My hcg levels went down. Is it possible it's not a miscarriage?

I went in at 7 weeks for my first apt / ultrasound. There was a sac, but no baby... So Dr. Ordered blood work. 38,000 hgc, followed by 34,000 two days later... Do I have hope?

Miscarrage is complete. Midwife and herbs were very helpful. I'm glad it's over. Still undecided if we'll try again. I already have 2 wonderful boys that fill my heart. I'm deleting this app, as I don't want to see pretend reminders anymore. Good luck to the rest of you. I am at peace.

Thanks for checking in. Follow up apt showed baby wasn't growing and no heart beat. Waiting to miscarry ... Been waiting almost two weeks.

That is hard, I am sorry you are in limbo. I was 2 weeks behind because I ovulated 2 weeks later than they though. Babies HR was 120. My original blood test showed a HCG of 14... the baby must have JUST implanted. 2 days later, 78. Now I am 9 weeks along and it keeps going but I understand how scary it can be.

At 6 weeks its hard to get a good pic of it all. Are they going to do another sonogram>?

Bless you hunni, I know it's hard but try not to stress. A warm bath helps relax. I'm so glad the baby was just behind on dates. It's terrifying it really is.

Thanks for Asking! Went back for follow up. Hgc levels rose slightly to 40k. Ultrasound showed a baby measuring 6 weeks. (2 weeks smaller than expected). And faint slow heart beat (42beats /min). Dr. Said it's worrisome. Google said 85% chance of fetal demise. No bleeding or cramping. Follow up apt Thursday. The limbo is killing me.
