Alone.

I'm 25 weeks pregnant with my first baby, still with the baby's father, but I've never felt so alone in my life. I don't feel any sort of attachment to the baby, and the baby's father acts like nothing is different. most nights I just crawl into bed and just want to cry. Has anyone else ever gone through this? Or should I talk to my Dr about it?

You should definitely talk to your Dr but if I may I would like to give you some advice. I know you said that you don't feel any attachment to the baby but give it a chance. I'm also pregnant with my first baby and I'm now 24 weeks and I was also like shucks!",am I ready for a baby?!! But when you see that little body inside you and feel it moving then all those worries just goes away and then you actually wait for those moments to see him moving and kicking. I believe having a baby(motherhood) is actually the most amazing experience that God gave us. And a baby is always a gift from God. Secondly, talk to him and ask him how does he feel about your pregnancy. If he truly loves you he will stand by you and not leave you like a sack of patatoes.(He is also the one that was part of it after all). If you weren't meant to be pregnant then you wouldn't have become pregnant. Don't penalise the baby. Believe me,once you start experiencing motherhood you won't regret it. (Sorry if I sounded like a preacher but I only wanted to help and share my thoughts with you:-)).
