Daddy's Acceptance

My boyfriend and I have been together for two years and we are now 13 weeks pregnant. I'm excited but he is still in the shocked and standoff'ish stage. What is the expected time frame I should expect before he actually comes around to truly accepting our current situation? Will it be only after the baby is born? I hope I won't have to go through this pregnancy mentally and emotionally by my self. Please advise ;-)

My husband really started coming around when he saw the 20 week ultra sound gender reveal scan.. then more so when he felt the first kick a few weeks later ( id been feeling my son since week 17). now even more so that im 32 weeks tomorrow and the baby goodies are rolling in and he'll be here before we know it!!!

My bf wasn't excited with our first son til I gave birth and it changed him,  now pregnant with our second boy and he didn't come around til the sex of the baby... now he's all in to my pregnancy. All men are different its probably gonna take some time for him to come around...

My hubby and I were together for 5 years when we had our son. He didn't get it together until our son was about six months old. I thought he would after the baby was born but we lived at his parents at that time so I think he still was being a child instead of a parent. When we moved out he stepped up and became the parent hopefully it won't rake your bf that long tho. Every guy is different:(
