Family Problems.
Did any of you ladies have problems with your significant others family? Such as the mom? My mother in law announced my first pregnancy before I wanted her to, announced my son's birth (uploaded a picture of herself with my son the day he was born, before I could.) And now she's announced my second pregnancy, even though I specifically told her not to, because I'm only 6 weeks along. My husband doesn't/hasn't ever understood why it bothered me so bad. Am I in the wrong?
I don't think you're in the wrong. Some mothers in law can be over bearing. Or, it could be that yours is so happy and proud of her grandchildren that she wants to announce it to the world. It puts you in a hard place because this is not what you want.
I would try sitting her down and explaining to her why it's so important for to to make the announcements. These are your children. Many mothers say nothing until they're 3 months along because they consider that to be a safe time.
Hopefully you can get this all worked out with her. If you have any more children maybe it would best to keep it only between you and your husband so she doesn't know.
