Trinity will be 4 months this friday:) has dr appt 2mrw, she is getting shots:( she screamed so loud the last time. Yes the time has flew by, it seems jus like yesterday we were introducing ourselves and posting our due dates:) I get weepy jus looking back on the journey it took to get to this point and looking at the furture lol.
Well little Ms Trinity gets to bed about 11 or 12 on an average, on a good day 9pm if im in the bed, she sleeps with me, i havent transitioned to putting her in her crib yet, and yes it is so uncomfortable, it feels like im playing green light yellow light red light stop and im frooze in a lyn position, and i dont want to make to much movement being afraid of wakn her up lol. Sometimes its so funny she gets up after 4 hours of sleeping and wants to nurse and after nursing she starts smiling, im like oh noooo, its still nite nite time lol. So 4-4:30 is the time she gets up to nurse, it s u c k s bcuz i dont get up until 6 to get ready for work it jus throws me off and there i am layn in the bed looking at the ceiling until 6 lol.
Well ladies, I guess I have been blessed with Brandon. He has always being a good sleeper! He normally goes to bed between 9pm-10pm and gets up around 6am-7am. There was a period of time the last two weeks where he would wake up 2 times during the night asking for food and that's when I introduced the cereal at night. I try not to give it to him during the day b/c I noticed he was getting really constipated. He is sooo alert is incredible. He is already holding his own bottle and he LOVES LOVES when you read to him. I bought him a couple Touchy Feely books by Usborne books, BTW they are create stimulant for infants and he truly loves it. He even turns the page ALL by him self. I can't believe he does that at only 4 months. He is almost sitting up on his own and he only takes his bottle if you have him in a sitting position. HA....LOL
While he got sick with the RSV virus he was getting up like 3-4 at night b/c he was congested, I'm so glad that's OVER.
OH I almost forgot, I have noticed he wakes up in the middle of the night, well I shouldn't say wake up...he is literally dead as sleep and he screams as if he is having night mares and whenever I go check on him he is dead as sleep. Anyone else experiencing this?
He still sleeps in his basinet in my room...he is growing out of that so quickly. My mother-in-law is buying us a portable crib so we can put it in our room. I'm not quite ready to send him to his room yet. I tried it a couple of times and I would be up 3-4 times at night checking up on him. The baby monitor I have is VERY SENSITIVE and picks up any sound/movement...I think I will wait til he is at least 6-8 months for the crib thing.
Bella sleeps from about 9pm to 7 or 8am. She almost always wakes up for a few minutes every night and I can hear her fussing, but she goes back to sleep. Maybe once a week she will wake up and scream because she's hungry most often around midnight.
Trinity does that sometimes to. She would jus scream then i look at her and she is sleep, or she would make a sad face and cry for like 3 seconds then shes back to sleep.
Wow... I think it was around 9 - 10 weeks when Owen began to sleep through the night... and by sleeping through the night I mean Owen would sleep from about 9-10pm until about 6-7am... There have been a few nights, but let me tell you that they have been far and few between where he'll go to bed around 8pm(that's his usual bed time now a'days) where he'll be up around 3-4am and hungry-- wanting a bottel. But like I said it's usually far between. The only down side is the fact that I'll put him to bed at 8pm and then I'll usually lay down and try and get to sleep, only to have to be up at 420am to get ready for work, well he hears me and he's up and hungry, which is getting irriating, however, I have been waking DH up and making him feed him while I get ready... espically this morning because it snowed a butt load and I needed to be out of the house by 5am at the latest, and well I was out the door by ten to, which worked out fine! BUT on the days that I have off he'll sleep until 8-9am sometimes untill 10, it all depends on how many naps he's had throughout the day and how active he's been... He's been taking about 6oz every 3-4 hours during the day...
Oh and while he's sleeping some night's hell wake up and lay in his bed and talk to his mobile or to his stuffed sea horse that plays music, I bet some of ya'll have seen that... but other than that, he really isn't up at night... As for where he's sleeping, he's been in his own room since he was about 9 weeks old and he's doing just fine.
Just a word of advice to everyone who's keeping their little ones in their rooms still, it will be difficult to start leaving your little one in his own crib at night because he/she isn't use to it, and will freak out and probably be more fussy until he/she become use to it... so my best advice would be to re-think waiting until he/she is 6-8 months because they are more awear of their surroundings and may have trouble falling asleep thing... ie over stimulation.... any who good luck-- god bless!! And I hope everyone is doing well with their little ones!
Zac is 4 months on monday. He has his last feed at 10pm and sleeps till 5.30am he has a feed then goes straight back to bed till about 7.30am. When he wakes at 5.30 im only up feeding and changing him for about 15-20 mins so it dont feel like ive really been up.
Matt has been sleeping from around 11 pm to 7 am since we moved him to his crib and he started at daycare, back the end of October. We do have a few setbacks now and then (having a cold, going to my parents house in NJ), but he's pretty much on that type of schedule. I usually have to wake him up for daycare, because if I don't, he will sleep until 7:30, and I will be late for work. He also only really takes catnaps at daycare, the longest nap is like 2 hours. They only place them on their backs to sleep, rightfully so, but he can't sleep like that because of his reflux, so he usually falls asleep in a swing, or bouncy seat there. I have him sleep on his belly, and he sleeps great. Oh, and we still use a vibrator on his crib.
How does the crib vibrator thingy work? LoL I've seen them at Target and I almost bought one, but I wasn't sure if they worked like the one he had in his Pack N' Play...
I have no idea! After 6 babies, I have never heard of that but you can bet I will be looking into it. Maybe kind of like the vibrator on a bouncer??
