Hey Hunnie,

Im glad you are pulling through, I know how hard it must be but God is with you and Im glad you have the full support of your Hubby. Dont stress too much Abby will be home in no time!! then she will grow so fast and you will wonder where in the world did time go? lol She's very special and fortunate to have such caring parents. I know its hard to go back and forth and Im sure pretty exhausting but its worth it ad soon she will be home and im sure spoiled to death!

As for me Im hanging in there barely. Ive been back and forth to the hospital for hypertension work ups. My body just fel like its giving out, ive had soo much swelling in my ankles and feet and my back is just aching.I havent had a sound sleep in weeks and the frequent trips to the bathroom dont help.
Ive tried everything to induce my labor naturally but its not working so ive given up, he's stubborn but im scheduled for a repeat c-section on the 23rd if I dont go into natural labor on my own before then. which im hoping I do, bc I really dont want to have another c-section.

Keep me posted. I hope baby Abby makes it home this week!!!!

Hey! Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you I have been so busy with going to the hospital every day. I am exhausted constantly. Abigail is doing great but is still in the hospital as she is not eating enough and her blood count is low (normal for preemies) which is causing her to sleep all the time and not want to eat good enough. The hubby and I will be staying in the hostile at the hospital with her over night tomorrow night to make sure we can look after her etc and HOPEFULLY she will be home thursday or Friday!!!! I am SO over the hospital and want her home so bad so I can get back into a normal routine and feel like myself again. It is so stressful and I am so glad you did not have to go through any of this! I hope all is well with you and your little guy and I bet you are getting super excited!! Good luck with the everything!

Aww thats great! Im glad she is doing well, before you know it she will be home! I didnt know they had meds that would help produce milk.. Hopefulli it works. I plan on breastfeefing too but the round the clock scares me i did it with my daughter and i barely got sleep, so im not sure if i wna do breast/bottle so my hubby can share the feedings, so i wnt be soo drained especially when i start back with work and school. Im getting really tired now and just the feeling  of being so heavy and this summer heat makes it worse. I barely have enough energy to do anything and I take abt 2 naps a day! My doctor says its all normal but i swear the glitz of being preggo has long gone, im soo ready for septemeber! I feel like im slowly falling into a depressed mood, i no longer fit my original maternity clothes! I feel like a beached whale in everything i wear, but i guess it all coems with the pregnancy! I have my 33wk appt next monday with my last ultrasound, im hoping since hes measuring big that they will scoot my due date up a bit, but who knows? We finally got my daughter room completed, we did a great job its beautiful and most of all she loves it.. Over the weekend we painted Jaylynn's room and started putting up the wall decor, the crib changing table and dresser should be here wihin the week so hopefulli we can get that set up and then the end of the month is ur babyshower! so after that we should be set!! im super excited but at the same time im soo exhausted that its hard to be joyous!

Did you and the hubby still plan on having a babyshower?

well keep me posted, I pray miss Abigail continues to do well.. Im going to post some of my 3d pics on my profile

That sono would have been amazing to see! I am glad you got to have that experience.

Abigail is doing great!! She is now 3lbs 9 ounces and is gaining every day. We take her out of her little incubator a few times a day and get to have our cuddles with her. She looks just like me too and is pretty darn cute if i do say so myself, lol. Nurses are saying that by next weekend she should be big enough to go into a bed and get out of that awful incubator so I can't wait for that! We are hoping to try and get her to start bottle/breast feeding soon and get the tube out of her nose. I am having some issues with producing milk right now. I can get just enough for her to feed right now but its not gettting any better. Because she was born so early, my hormones did not have a chance to kick in to produce the milk she needs so hopfully when she can start trying the boob it will help. My doc put me on Donperidone which is supposed to help increase production so i am hoping that kicks in soon. It is frustrating when you don't see any difference and I have to do it every 3 hours even during the night. Her nursery is almost done. the change table/dresser is being delivered today and we bought a closet organizer we have to install and thats it! We still have a while before she will be able to come home anyways so we still have some time to do that. Hope you have fun getting your little ones room together and hope you start to feel better soon! Talk to you soon!

Hey,

I hope things are going well with you and your family! Im sure your anxiously waiting to take your princess home. My friend just brought her daughter home from the hospital 2days ago she was also preemie born at 25wks! and she is doing great now.

We had our 3d/4d sono yesterday and it was amazing to see how much he looks like me! He was sucking his thumb and smiling and it brought tears to my husband and I! It was really a great way to bond with him even more, seeing what he looks like and knowing that the kicks and punches i feel is a reassurance he's doing good made me feel great. He's measuring big! 5lbs 2oz and i still have about 8-9wks to go. so she says im looking at a 8-9lb baby boy delivery time!!

Im still unconfortable at night and the backaches and leg pain is getting worse but since im in single weeks i can see the finish line so im trying to stay positive. We are painting his nursery this weekend and hopefulli will have the crib delivered very soon!

Keep in touch!!

Sorry to hear you are so uncomfortable. I was heading down that road as well and I guess one good thing about her coming so early is I don't have too anymore and also don't need to suffer through the summer heat lol. The 4d sono should be a neat experience!  Yes get that family on top of getting the nursery ready cause as we found out, you just never know!

I had no complications at all and everything was going so well. I went into the labour and delivery room the night before because i hadn't felt her move at all for about 4 days and was worried but got checked and everything was fine. The next day i felt fine and went to the dentist for a cleaning and got a bit worked up there because they had me waiting for so long and i had things to do and then when i went home I started to have cramps but it felt like I was constipated. I sent the hubby to the store to get me something for relief and I did have a bowel movement but the pains just kept getting worse so that night we went up to the labour and delivery and they checked me and said that I was 2cm at that point and the contractions were at 4 min apart. I was in shock and just started crying like crazy. It was one crazy night for sure.

Abigail is doing so great! We can see a difference in her everyday. They had her on a C-PAP machine just to help her breathe a bit, but they have now taken that off her and she is breathing on her own. They put her back on once and a while just to give her a break, but she is doing so well. They have up'd her milk from 1ml/hour to 5ml/hour so hopfully she will start to gain a bit of weight soon. We have not been able to hold her or anything yet so that is really hard, but we have been told that this weekend may be the time to do that so fingers crossed!  Just about to head back up there now so I will keep you update on her progress!

Good luck on the nursery!

WOWW!!! well i am soooo happyto hear that you and Miss Abigail are doing well! She will be just fine no worries Ive been reading up on everything lately and with being a nursing student I know her chances are at about 90% right now! so that's wonderful she's a strong little girl no breathing tubes is great! before you know it she will be home in your arms. Good thing ur hubby got the nursery together! Continue to rest and dont stress its not good for you or ur production of milk for miss abigail!

On another note i have been super tired and me and the hubby are on opposite shifts at work so we barely see each other :( its been upsetting! The pains at night are getting worse and worse the hot flashes and leg cramps keep me up thru the night not to mention the heartburn and frequent urination. Jaylynn is still moving like crazy! my appt went well and i have another the 27th for our 4d sono then a regular appt on the 29th. they checked my cervix and its still closed, which is good. Im counting down bc i am truly uncomfortable at this point im short of breath with everything i do and just plain tired.
Im hoping that my family pulls together and gets these rooms together before august! its been hected but we finally bought the paint and taped up the room so now its time for a paint party!
Keep me posted with everythign going on and miss Abigail's progress! and a BIG CONGRATS!!! to you and the hubby! I bet she's a precious little girl!

Well here is the biggest update yet...........................I HAD THE BABY! Thursday afternoon i started feeling some pains and thought maybe i was constipated so tried some glycern supositories and after using those there was no relief and the pain got worse so I went up to the hospital and sure enough, I was in labour and already 2cm dialated and the contractions were 4 mins apart. They admitted me to labour and delivery and used some new medication to try and and help hold off or stop the contractions. They were able to slow them down for a while and they eventually were spread out to about and hour and half apart. During this time over thursday night and friday they made sure to inject steroids to help the babies lungs mature and also magnesium sulphate to help protect the brain which apparently is a new proceedure and they were able to get the right amount of dosage in on time. Everyone was pretty confident that they had stopped the contractions and that I would just have to stay in the hospital on bed rest until she was born, however at about 1am saturday morning they started up again and went from 30 mins apart to like 2 secs apart in a matter of a couple hours. it was SO painful and I was begging for a epidural but they refused because if they gave it to me it meant that they HAD to deliver her and they still wanted to try and hold it off, but that was NOT happening. So before we knew it, my water broke and at 5:09am saturday morning Abigail Grace was born. She weighs 2 pounds 9 ounces and is 15 inches long.  They have her in the NICU up at the hospital and she is doing really well. The doctors are very happy with her progress so far. She is breathing on her own without any tubes in her to breathe, she just had a little CPAP maching over her nose to help a little air get in but they are already starting to take her off it every 2 hours for about 30 mins to 45 mins and she is doing great! They have her feeding with my milk already too which is great. She is being fed with a tube in her bellybutton and gets the milk injected. She is the cutest smallest thing ever and I wouldn't trade her in a heartbeat.  I am doing great, just got out of the hospital yesterday which was nice. I was going crazy in there doing nothing. It was sad to have to leave her, however I know she is in the best place she can be right now.  We go up a few times a day to see her and bring her milk and rigght now we dont get to hold her to anything but we can touch her and just sit and watch her beautiful face.

Anyways, that is my eventful weekend all wrapped up. I wish you all the best for the next little while and hope you don't have to go through what we are.

Hey,

I had the glucose testing and everything went fine with that, my blood test did reveal that i am anemic which i knew already, but they want me taking a supplement iron in addition to my prenatals now. Ive been doing ok, really tired these days, like no matter how much sleep i get its not enough! Ive been having the sam eproblems with sleep, my hips and legs hurt and my lower back! Hes still on the big side! I can feel him all day long and its starting to become painful! I can tell hes getting really strong and I can see every movement! Its amazing but im actually getting to the point where im begging the time to hurry up!

I have an appointment tomorrow, then another in two weeks for my 3d/4d sono! so im soo excited about that.

We have finally started the girls room, so once that project is done we will start the nursery. Everything for the rooms ahve been purchased its just a matter of having a paint party!

Hi! I had another ultrasound last week and everything looks perfect and they measured the fluids again and they are looking normal so I am SO SO happy about that!

I have been good with the weight and people have actually told me i look like i have lost some weight in my face and stuff and it just seems like its my belly growing and right now I look huge and i still have 2 months left lol.  I have been having issues sleeping at night because my hips and knees start aching really bad but i find if i take a couple of Tylenol before bed I can sleep a bit better. Other than that I have had no other issues. My little one doesn't seem to be as active as yours lol. Some days I feel her a lot and then other days I can't remember if I have felt her at all. I have not head anything back yet about my glucose test results so I am hoping it went well. I have a doc apt next week so i will let you know how that goes. Good luck on your tests and keep me posted!

Hey,

Im glad things are going well with you! Wow shes measuring big, hopefulli everything is fine.

Im excited to be to starting the nursery soon. I just completed my summer classes, so now my attention is getting the nursery together. We did part one of the babyshower registry and we are going to finish this weekend.

I have my glucose test tomorrow and other bloodwork as well so im not looking forward to being pricked, but im happy ill get to hear his little heart beat.
He moves alot, I mean all day and night! We sit and watch him because when he rolls or kicks my stomach jumps! Its amazing how fast they grow.

My doctor said the same thing you may be able to hear his hearbeat or even hiccups! so my husband listens and talks to him everyday! its the sweetest thing. We already have a bond. The baby is very territorial, anytime i have my hand or arm resting on my tummy he starts kicking it like im invading his space.

most of my symptoms are gone as well, ive been having leg cramps and back pain from the weight gain and heartburn depending on what i ea; and lately ive been eating alot! im always hungry..luckily i havent gotten huge im all tummy and hips and thighs!

well take care keep me updated with the appts! when ou get the nursery all fixed up you have to post a picture!

Glad to hear everything is well with you! everything at this time is just so exciting, getting to feel them kick and move and designing the nursery !

My husband was off last week so he worked on the nursery all week so its now painted and has the crib up and the blind and curtains up and a few decorations. We are just waiting to order the dresser and change table. I love walking by and seeing the room almost done!

I have my glucose test coming up this friday. I am also not looking forward to that either!!

I had a doc apt on Friday and everything was good. My belly was measuring 2 weeks more than I am so I am guessing that she will either be big, or its apart of the whole fluid thing. My ultrasound isn't until the 29th so i am still crossing my fingers on that.

They say your partner can probably hear the heartbeat now if they put their ear  to your stomach so my husband tried doing that the other night and she kicked him right in the head. It was hilarious!

My symptoms have gone as well except I have been getting headaches a lot. I used to get them before too but now its worse.

Anyways, again, I am glad to hear you are doing well and keep me updated!

Hey,

Im glad things are going well with you, I hope all turns out fine with the fluid, just think positive now you gets to see ur baby every month!!! exciting. Dont stress!

As for me I had an appt two weeks ago, the doc said everything looks good, ive been gaining weight like crazy though and i dont know why! I dont eat that much and i do exercise so ill have to keep an eye on my weight. She told me hes going to be big as hes already measuring almost a wekk ahead! I can feel him day and night, I dnt think he ever sleeps!! My hubby feels hima and talks to my belly daily.. its really precious we sit and watch my belly jump for hours. This little boy is so active and i can tell hes getting bigger and stronger day by day! Im loving it, the symptoms have subsided except the fatigue and now lower back pain, but im dealing with it! Loving the baby bump and im hoping i stay all belly!. my legs and feet swell from time to time but once they are elevated it goes down.

My next appt is July 1st when I do the glucose test..not looking for to the drink or blood work but its routine.

Ive already ordered all his nursery stuff im just waiting for everything to come in! super excited we are starting on the room next month! hes going to have our daughter's old room and she will get a new bigger room so we have alot to do

It is so exciting getting the idea of the nursery in my head and I can't wait to get started on it either! Hubby is taking a weeks vacation soon to start converting our office into the nursery so can't wait!

I had a doc apt on Thursday with my new doc as my other one closed his office. I like this new doc better as he is much more thorough. He said that my weight and blood pressure and the baby's anatmony looks great, however on the the last ultrasound they made a comment that they believe my amniotic fluid may be a bit high and are a little concerned about that and I will have to go for monthly ultrasounds to monitor that, so I am hoping and praying that everything is okay. I have my next ultrasound booked for June 28th so I will keep you posted on that. Please keep your fingers crossed for us!

Glad all is well with you, and i know all about those hot flashes LMAO. They just seem to hit out of nowhere. I have been feeling her move and kick and hubby also was able to feel it for the first time the other day so he was super excited about that! Anyways, keep doing well and can't wait to hear your next update!

I can't believe how fast the time is flying! I hear ya about the washroom runs, my husband thinks its hilarious of course lol.   I have been sick with a viral infection now for over a week and feel like i am coughing up a lung and of course I can't take anything for it! I hope it goes away soon. I got the bedding for the nursery this weekend and it is SOO cute! It is dark and bright purple with white and green butterflies. I love it!  Anyways hope to hear from ya soon. Take care.
