Sorry to hear you are so uncomfortable. I was heading down that road as well and I guess one good thing about her coming so early is I don't have too anymore and also don't need to suffer through the summer heat lol. The 4d sono should be a neat experience!  Yes get that family on top of getting the nursery ready cause as we found out, you just never know!

I had no complications at all and everything was going so well. I went into the labour and delivery room the night before because i hadn't felt her move at all for about 4 days and was worried but got checked and everything was fine. The next day i felt fine and went to the dentist for a cleaning and got a bit worked up there because they had me waiting for so long and i had things to do and then when i went home I started to have cramps but it felt like I was constipated. I sent the hubby to the store to get me something for relief and I did have a bowel movement but the pains just kept getting worse so that night we went up to the labour and delivery and they checked me and said that I was 2cm at that point and the contractions were at 4 min apart. I was in shock and just started crying like crazy. It was one crazy night for sure.

Abigail is doing so great! We can see a difference in her everyday. They had her on a C-PAP machine just to help her breathe a bit, but they have now taken that off her and she is breathing on her own. They put her back on once and a while just to give her a break, but she is doing so well. They have up'd her milk from 1ml/hour to 5ml/hour so hopfully she will start to gain a bit of weight soon. We have not been able to hold her or anything yet so that is really hard, but we have been told that this weekend may be the time to do that so fingers crossed!  Just about to head back up there now so I will keep you update on her progress!

Good luck on the nursery!

WOWW!!! well i am soooo happyto hear that you and Miss Abigail are doing well! She will be just fine no worries Ive been reading up on everything lately and with being a nursing student I know her chances are at about 90% right now! so that's wonderful she's a strong little girl no breathing tubes is great! before you know it she will be home in your arms. Good thing ur hubby got the nursery together! Continue to rest and dont stress its not good for you or ur production of milk for miss abigail!

On another note i have been super tired and me and the hubby are on opposite shifts at work so we barely see each other :( its been upsetting! The pains at night are getting worse and worse the hot flashes and leg cramps keep me up thru the night not to mention the heartburn and frequent urination. Jaylynn is still moving like crazy! my appt went well and i have another the 27th for our 4d sono then a regular appt on the 29th. they checked my cervix and its still closed, which is good. Im counting down bc i am truly uncomfortable at this point im short of breath with everything i do and just plain tired.
Im hoping that my family pulls together and gets these rooms together before august! its been hected but we finally bought the paint and taped up the room so now its time for a paint party!
Keep me posted with everythign going on and miss Abigail's progress! and a BIG CONGRATS!!! to you and the hubby! I bet she's a precious little girl!

Well here is the biggest update yet...........................I HAD THE BABY! Thursday afternoon i started feeling some pains and thought maybe i was constipated so tried some glycern supositories and after using those there was no relief and the pain got worse so I went up to the hospital and sure enough, I was in labour and already 2cm dialated and the contractions were 4 mins apart. They admitted me to labour and delivery and used some new medication to try and and help hold off or stop the contractions. They were able to slow them down for a while and they eventually were spread out to about and hour and half apart. During this time over thursday night and friday they made sure to inject steroids to help the babies lungs mature and also magnesium sulphate to help protect the brain which apparently is a new proceedure and they were able to get the right amount of dosage in on time. Everyone was pretty confident that they had stopped the contractions and that I would just have to stay in the hospital on bed rest until she was born, however at about 1am saturday morning they started up again and went from 30 mins apart to like 2 secs apart in a matter of a couple hours. it was SO painful and I was begging for a epidural but they refused because if they gave it to me it meant that they HAD to deliver her and they still wanted to try and hold it off, but that was NOT happening. So before we knew it, my water broke and at 5:09am saturday morning Abigail Grace was born. She weighs 2 pounds 9 ounces and is 15 inches long.  They have her in the NICU up at the hospital and she is doing really well. The doctors are very happy with her progress so far. She is breathing on her own without any tubes in her to breathe, she just had a little CPAP maching over her nose to help a little air get in but they are already starting to take her off it every 2 hours for about 30 mins to 45 mins and she is doing great! They have her feeding with my milk already too which is great. She is being fed with a tube in her bellybutton and gets the milk injected. She is the cutest smallest thing ever and I wouldn't trade her in a heartbeat.  I am doing great, just got out of the hospital yesterday which was nice. I was going crazy in there doing nothing. It was sad to have to leave her, however I know she is in the best place she can be right now.  We go up a few times a day to see her and bring her milk and rigght now we dont get to hold her to anything but we can touch her and just sit and watch her beautiful face.

Anyways, that is my eventful weekend all wrapped up. I wish you all the best for the next little while and hope you don't have to go through what we are.

Hey,

I had the glucose testing and everything went fine with that, my blood test did reveal that i am anemic which i knew already, but they want me taking a supplement iron in addition to my prenatals now. Ive been doing ok, really tired these days, like no matter how much sleep i get its not enough! Ive been having the sam eproblems with sleep, my hips and legs hurt and my lower back! Hes still on the big side! I can feel him all day long and its starting to become painful! I can tell hes getting really strong and I can see every movement! Its amazing but im actually getting to the point where im begging the time to hurry up!

I have an appointment tomorrow, then another in two weeks for my 3d/4d sono! so im soo excited about that.

We have finally started the girls room, so once that project is done we will start the nursery. Everything for the rooms ahve been purchased its just a matter of having a paint party!

Hi! I had another ultrasound last week and everything looks perfect and they measured the fluids again and they are looking normal so I am SO SO happy about that!

I have been good with the weight and people have actually told me i look like i have lost some weight in my face and stuff and it just seems like its my belly growing and right now I look huge and i still have 2 months left lol.  I have been having issues sleeping at night because my hips and knees start aching really bad but i find if i take a couple of Tylenol before bed I can sleep a bit better. Other than that I have had no other issues. My little one doesn't seem to be as active as yours lol. Some days I feel her a lot and then other days I can't remember if I have felt her at all. I have not head anything back yet about my glucose test results so I am hoping it went well. I have a doc apt next week so i will let you know how that goes. Good luck on your tests and keep me posted!
