check in!

Just checking in to see how all the September Mommie are doing?
So far so good here, having a very active little girl that we are naming Lucy.  I feel like a cow already and my biggest complaint is the swollen ankles and calves!  Hope everyone else is doing good!

Hi Everyone,

I am 28 weeks today, so only 12 left! Very excited and i just want to hold our little one. We dont know what we are having but there isnt long left to find out lol. Bubs is mostley active after midday and into the night.

I am a high risk pregnancy due to a subseptate uterus and a thyroid condition. As well at my last ultrasound baby was still breach (i know they still have alot of time to turn but with a subseptate uterus, my uterus is only half the size as a normal uterus, so not as much room) and the ultrasound also found the baby had it's cord wrapped around it's neck (My daughter had it wrapped around her neck during her birth which caused her to be born not breathing and it took them 7 minutes to revive her when she was delivered). So i will need to have another scan to check on this and it the cord is still around the neck i will have a c-section.

I had an early glucose test at 12 weeks due to high family history but i need to have another one which i must get onto soon! I am back to the specialist next week and then a few days after that i'm back to the Endo and Diabeties specialist.

I'm glad to hear everyone is going well and sorry for such a long post
xoxo

Hi girls. I am almost 27 weeks and I am doing ok. Some days I am just really tired. I have a 20 month old daughter who is just so active and I am running after her all day long. By 9 oclock I just want to lie down and relax. This pregnancy is so different from my first and has been wonderful. I notice I am more calm and not worried about every little twinge or cramp. Maybe it's becuase I have a toddler who takes up my mind. Hopefully I will continue to have an uneventful next couple of months.

Oh and Mariana I totally peed myself yesterday and had no idea. I had to go home and change... so embarrassing!!

At this moment it is hard to predict if the doctors will do a c section or not. I am going on the 24th to have a growth ultrasound. The babies are in different positions now but they could move so I can have a vaginal delivery, but the problem is that BOTH of them will have to move, not just one, otherwise it will be a c section. I'm trying not to worry about that right now because a lot can change from now until September. BTW, I haven't pee myself anymore! wohooo!!! and I am sleeping better with pillow support all over:)
Good luck to all of you!

It's been awhile since I have written.  My baby girl, Katelyn and I are doing better.  I have a rather large fibroid sitting on my cervix causing pain and pressure.  Been hospitalized twice so far.  The contractions and pain are now under control with hydroxyprogesterone shots, procardia and percocet.  Being on bed rest I have gained quite a bit but I also quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant so some weight stems from that.
It's good to hear that everyone is doing pretty okay.  It's been a roller coaster of emotion for some of us.    I can't wait but want to wait to meet my beautiful Katie.  Due September 12th (27 weeks Monday) hope I can last that long.
Good luck to everyone and their beautiful babes!

I sleep normal as I've been doing.. Except in the first weeks, I was out by 10:30-12:00. I was so sleepy then.. Now I can manage to stay up until 1:30-3:30 on a good day lol.
I'm having some slight pressure in my lower abdomen and it definitely feels like he is head down now. With all the kicking he's doing to my ribs tonight lol.. He has been at it for 2 hours! lol

I am 23 weeks p[regnant with twins (boy/girl). Im doing great but I feel very pregnant now and I can't imagine how huge I will be at the end! Oh well,,,, taking a day at a time. I'm still working until the end of July. Something "funny" happened last week TWICE, I PEE myself after sneezing! OMG! I had to run to the bathroom and take my panties out, wash them and go commando for the rest of the afternoon. The other thing is that sleeping is not that fun anymore, I can't find my position and the paranoia of not sleeping on my back because it slows the babies heartbeat is crazy. The doctor told me to avoid sleeping on my back at all cost, it is not good for my blood flow and the babies. I am the most comfortable on my back :(.

Someone gave me one of those huge pregnancy pillows and they are SO COMFORTABLE! OMG! It tried it last night and slept like a log!. I wake up to pee like three times but i'm getting in used to it.

I'm also TINY!!! a 5 feet tall woman, so I'm hoping these twins will fit in my body at the end!!!

Good luck to everyone:)

I feel like I am CONSTANTLY tired too!  I could get 10 hours of sleep at night and by 10am the next morning I'm sitting at my desk at work and just completely exhausted!  Little Lucy is so active too.  I've only woken up to her kicking once at night so far but during the day she is VERY active.  I'm hoping she stays that way, up during the day and sleeping at night.  I had asked my Mother how I was as a baby and she told me that I never slept, so I am terrified I'll end up with a baby like that as well.  As I type this right now, I can feel her dancing around.  I could literally spend hours staring at my stomach during the day and watching it move.  Being a first time Mom, this is just facinating!

yep, I was surprised that I have only gained 8 with my others I had gained prob about 12-15 lol I dont really eat a lot though due to heartburn boooo lol 27 weeks man all of us are getting up there now!!!! I have seen a kind of pattern with my LO but she breaks it often lol I know she's up about 6 in the morning, 9 or 10 def noon and I forget about afternoon hours but about 11pm she is raring to go while im trying to go to sleep!!! I was shocked too, when they told me I was dialated, they said no more working out and keep walking to a minimum until the end, drink lots of water booo and to basically stay in bed.. but I got kids so thats a no go but I take it as easy as I can..she really is a big girl and I cant remember if its normal to get a ultrasound in your 30 weeks but they said I will get one to determine size and weight, I said how she get so big when I really cant eat that much, they said its in the genes and my hubby is tall and broad in the shoulders, he is slender though so I joke and say hey maybe this one will be a model and take care of us! We can retire early lololol! Anyone else feel like no matter how long they are sleep they still feel tired?

omgsh! already dialated!!! WOW!! You'll probably have your lo before I do lol.. I'll be 27 weeks Friday. Brody is a very active baby although his sleep patterns are just wacky lol...
Earlier today, he literally made my stomach roll. I am all belly right now and have gained 10 pounds so far. I think that's pretty good considering that most women gain a lot more than that by now. lol

My cousin is due to have her son any day now really even though she's got 4 weeks left. She's starting to labor a little. She started leaking at 7 months and her doctor told her that it's a good sign that she will be able to breastfeed... I hope that's the same in my case as well. I'm not leaking a lot but I do have the clear syrup-type coming out if I gently squeeze my nipples... It was during a night of bd'ing that DF found out I had it LOL

Hello ladies! Glad everyone is doing great!! I must also say this little girl is extremely active also!! Klr2650 very much in the same boat, she is up all night! Every where I read they have developed their sleep cycle and you can almost bet this will be the same when they are born!!! I also went for my glucose test and passed, I was dreading it but like cnj76 is was not bad at all, I dont know what the big deal is but I thought it tasted like a really sweet orange gatorade! Blood sugar was 80 post test! Another interesting thing that started last week is that I am leaking already.... I guess thats normal! Every where I read says that it is! My husband is totally grossed out by it, me on the other hand find it kinda fascinating and hope this means that ill have a good milk supply! Ready to see this little munchkin already!!!

I'm almost 27 weeks pregnant.. I had my glucose test already and I passed. So that's awesome lol.. I was fearing the thought of it but it wasn't that bad at all. Especially since I got the orange kind. There are days I feel huge and days I'm like, I don't look pregnant? lol.. But, we are having a little boy named Brody in 14 weeks!! :))
