What's going on in your pregnancy lately?

So, I'm searching around online just doing my normal thing. Love looking up pregnancy related topics. And it got me to thinking that I'm 34w4d pregnant. Not too much longer. I have 38 days left of my pregnancy. Can you believe it?! Just so amazing. I'm wondering how you other ladies are doing. What's going on in your pregnancy?

So far in mine, I'm having swelling in my feet, legs and hands. My doctors nurse said it was normal but man am I cranky about it. I can barely walk at times or bend my fingers. My weight has gotten out of control. I went from 160 to 177 from the beginning of my pregnancy to 31 weeks... Then from 31w2d to 34w3d I've gained 10 pounds!!! My doctor didn't seem to want to believe that but he said to lay off the goodies like soda, cakes, cookies, ice cream... you know, all of the preggers favorites! Lol... I don't eat that many sweets believe it or not. I do allow myself a mountain dew or two a day. Maybe some tea. But I do drink water. My belly measured right on track so part of it could be the swelling. Which he stated that it could be. I don't know. I'm only supposed to have appointments every 2 weeks but at my appointment yesterday he said he's making them every week now. (maybe there is something he knows that I don't lol).... I was sent to L&D yesterday for monitoring since Brody doesn't move that often anymore and hadn't moved much Sunday or Monday morning. But, his heart did get two accelerations so he's healthy. Next appointment is Monday, so I will update more then about all this....

I really just want to have this baby! I'm so ready to have this baby that I am literally praying that the first sign he will make it outside of the womb and be okay with NO PROBLEMS, that I'll go into labor. I am THAT miserable. Especially being down south. Freakin' heat is ridiculous!!!! lol

For starters, I am just miserable!  I am eagerly awaiting my daughter to be born!  My hips hurts, my feet and calves are so swollen and my wrists have swollen internally that I have carpal tunnel in one wrist (the one i write with) and then tendonitis in the other wrist.  I have braxton hicks contractions quite a bit also and they are just maddening sometimes..I have to almost stop what i'm doing to catch my breath from the tightenting.  I will be 36 weeks next Wednesday and I start going every week from then on until the little peanut comes out.  I have wanted a baby for so many years that I almost feel at times it isn't fair that I have been miserable the entire pregnancy, but if this is what it takes to give me my baby, i'll take it!  I'm looking forward to being Lucy's Mommy.  Come on full term!  Good luck to all of you other ladies!  Do we know how many have had their babies in our group already?

Just had an appointment today.  I had to wait 1 1/2 hours before I was seen because my doctor was doing a delivery.  They didn't want to reschedule me though because of all the braxton hicks I am having.  I had an internal done and am 1 cm dialated.  Not that it means all that much though.  I could stay at that for weeks!!  She did say she thought I would probably go a little early.  I wouldn't mind going early, but I would like to wait until at least 38 weeks!  Good news is I have only gained a pound since my last appt.  I have gained a total of 17 lbs so far.  Hope all you ladies are doing well!!  The light is really starting to shine at the end of the tunnel for us!! :)

A lot of moms like to find out the sex of the baby before they are born other than for buying blue or pink things... It's the element of surprise for everyone else when we all get to tell everyone what were having... but more so because mothers can tend to bond with a child that is not here yet. Picturing what they will be like in life and how they will fit into yours. Saying you have a son... or you have a daughter... It's a reassuring, happy feeling. Most of us can't help it Lol....

It also helps when you need to buy things. I don't like being last minute lol

My weight has went up 2-3 pounds since Monday!!! :(( Ugh.. I'm hoping it's just swelling. I've been good with my food intake and liquids and what I'm drinking.... It's been 100+ here so maybe some has to do with the heat? It goes up and down. :((( blah... Bright side, only 37 days to go!!! :)))

Does everyone these days find out what they are having?
Does no-one like the element of surprise anymore?
Just cos you can find out doesn't mean you should!
I have less than 5wks to go with my 2nd child (DD is 7.5yrs).
I'm nearly ready to meet my bub as my ankles/legs,just yesterday, are becoming "kankles", i'm also suffering from SPD (Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction), which is sooo painful and have another 1.5wks of work (not that my job is physical), but having to get up and down constantly is really tiring and not helping the already painful pelvic area.
Anyway i hope all you ladies due soon have happy/healthy bubs soon.
Thanks

Girl, be careful... I'd go nutty if I had to work like you do. Especially because my swelling is so bad sometimes my feet are purple.

I actually get NO breaks what so ever :/

Sometimes I leave work crying from how tired I am . I know I shouldn't be working so much but I do.

I get these bad backaches and I am supposed to Use this maternity belt but they don't allow me to at work :( I have a really strict job.

I hope your able to take a lot of breaks at work! I was just reading about preterm labor the other night and this is what I found....

"There's evidence that pregnant women who stand for more than 40 hours a week or who have extremely tiring jobs are at higher risk than women with less physically demanding jobs. Other studies have not confirmed these findings, though."

So just be careful since you have swelling! :)

Hi I am 33 weeks+1day . I am almost there too :) due sept 19 .

Ughh let's see since you asked ill tell you all about the lovely pains I am having lol

Well for starters my feet and hand are wayyyy swollen I can't find my ankles lol. I am still working so being on my feet all day doesn't help with all the swelling.

I do get really cranky and irratated very easily now. I can't lay down because I can't breathe right. :/

I am having these pains in my pelvic area. I guess they r normal.

I am still going to the doc every two weeks but I think at 36 they will have me go every week.

Okay I have to mention that as I am writting this my husband is in our babys room fixing the clothes and putting them away . (My baby shower was sat july 30) hahah he's nesting :)

Now back to the pains lol. I can go on and on about how I feel but I am surely grateful my babyboy is healthy. I am so anxious to meet him already
