My ob told me not to shave the pubic area after 36weeks cause it could cause infection.
I am letting my husband shave me this weekend
I'm 36 weeks, this is my 3rd pregnancy. I shaved till birth with the other pregnancies & still shaving with this one. You just have to be careful & go by feel, since there's no way of seeing what you're doing. I've never heard of shaving causing an infection & have never had an infection. My doctor has obviously seen me when she checks my cervix & when she delivered my other babies & has not said anything. But each doctor has their own opinion.
I am doing it by feel. This is my third baby I am due in 5 ddays. I could see way more with my other two. This baby is low and dropped a week ago so I can't see at all.
I'm about to be 36 weeks too and I'm just going to have hubby do it for me haha! He does a pretty good job at it!
I am 37 weeks 5 days and haven't been able to shave myself for a while... My boyfriend is a big help for everything during this pregnancy including shaving my vagina:) as long as you feel comfortable with him shaving you, best decision you could make by far!! & if you're nervous he is going to cut you, guide him through it:) good luck
Im 38 Weeks & i Just Shaved Yesterday .. I Cant Lie It Is VERY Difficult But I Cant Be Hairy Lol , Its Just Not For Me .. i Have A Pretty Good Razor Tho .. So I Never Got Cut (Knock On Wood) I Cant See ANYTHING , I Kind Of Just Do What I Usually Do & Hope Not To Cut Myself
37+3 and i still shave but it's blind shaving now lol
I shaved yesterday and my husband laughed at me during the whole process lol I can't stand hair do I take my time and frequent breaks :)
I used my buzz clippers at 30 weeks and that was challenging enough. I can't gather up the courage to fly blind with an actual razor. A little grass on the field is a small price to pay for not having cuts on my hoo-hah.
im 39 weeks and 4 days and shaved tonight i always shave always i hate hair but i always go the same route as always and just do that i just use probably more soap since i cant tell if i have any on or not lol but iv never asked my other half to shave it maybe i should lol he might be good at it
I wouldn't dream of shaving without being able to see-I've cut myself before and it hurts so bad.
I use hair removing cream-no risk of cuts and no struggling to see !
I put a mirror at the end of the bath to help but can do it without x
Lol im 38wks & ithink ishaved like 2-3wks yeah , it was challenged . Iwish my husband would do it , it would make my life easier obviously lol ijust never asked but knowing him he'll say ah just leave it your not impressing anybody , especially me idnt care as long as iget whatever iwant lol. This is our 3rd btw & ishave on the regular cause idnt like hair there either.
These stories are to funny because I can really relate I've been trying to shave it's so hard when you can't see at all no matter how hard you try I had planed on trying agin this evening I'm due in 12days and certainty don't want the doctors and nurses looking at my 5:00 shadow I don't want my husband to do it even tho he said he would I'll be doing it all by feel lol wish me luck haha
I'm 38w5d and I had a Brazilian done. I work at a spa so I've always been a waxer. I don't have to stress about cutting myself nor shaving around this watermelon in my way ;)
The Intuition shaver is awesome! (One with soap around the razors). I do it blind now (37 wks). But cutting yourself basically doesn't happen (unless you slip?).
