9th month...anybody still trying to shave?!

I'll be 36w tomorrow and I just attempted to shave *down there* (tmi sorry). It was the worst decision of my life, I swear! Once you start you can't just stop...let me tell you, that was by far the longest shower I've ever taken. By the time I was done I was practically in tears because it was so frustrating to try to move around this belly and other larger..assets. I couldn't see a thing I was doing, but no cuts that I know of. I checked in a hand held mirror after and I must say...not too bad of a job. BUT I DONT RECOMMEND IT!

The Intuition shaver is awesome! (One with soap around the razors). I do it blind now (37 wks). But cutting yourself  basically doesn't happen (unless you slip?).

I'm 38w5d and I had a Brazilian done. I work at a spa so I've always been a waxer. I don't have to stress about cutting myself nor shaving around this watermelon in my way ;)

I wouldn't dream of shaving without being able to see-I've cut myself before and it hurts so bad.
I use hair removing cream-no risk of cuts and no struggling to see !
I put a mirror at the end of the bath to help but can do it without x

I used my buzz clippers at 30 weeks and that was challenging enough. I can't gather up the courage to fly blind with an actual razor. A little grass on the field is a small price to pay for not having cuts on my hoo-hah.

I am 37 weeks 5 days and haven't been able to shave myself for a while... My boyfriend is a big help for everything during this pregnancy including shaving my vagina:) as long as you feel comfortable with him shaving you, best decision you could make by far!! & if you're nervous he is going to cut you, guide him through it:) good luck

I'm 36 weeks, this is my 3rd pregnancy. I shaved till birth with the other pregnancies & still shaving with this one. You just have to be careful & go by feel, since there's no way of seeing what you're doing. I've never heard of shaving causing an infection & have never had an infection. My doctor has obviously seen me when she checks my cervix & when she delivered my other babies & has not said anything. But each doctor has their own opinion.

My ob told me not to shave the pubic area after 36weeks cause it could cause infection.
