Sex inducing labor
22 more days left and finally convinced my boyfriend to have sex with me hoping would induce my labor this weekend ... Will it work even if I haven't had sex with him for 6 months becus he's scarce he's going to hurt me or the baby but finally on his day off well spend some time together ... Question is .. Will it work inducing labor just this one day ?
I'm 37 weeks and found out I am still closed (not dilated at all). I asked my doctor of there was anything I can do, and she said "no, otherwise I wouldn't have been 8 days past my own due date". So I think people can try and try with sex, pineapple, bouncing on a ball... but it'll just be a coincidence of labor starts. It's when baby is ready...
-TMI SORRY IN ADVANCE- Can I just say that although we haven't been having much sex recently (personally I don't find it comfortable and I don't feel very sexy right now), I've reached several orgasms on my own while my boyfriend is at work, I've been eating a can of pineapple every day now for about 3 days (I'm 36w 4d) in addition to bouncing on an exercise ball and alternating breasts when stimulating my nipples (5 mins on one nipple- wait 15 mins- and then 5mins on the other//repeat). I get checked on Friday (36w 6d) to see if I'm dialated at all. Here's hoping!!
Have as much sex as u can.. Ur bf sperm softens the uterus and makes it more likely for u to dialate faster and makes labor al il more bearable...
Ill be 37w tomorrow and 2 weeks ago we had sex and after I had the worst pains all day long not sure what it was it eased off. We then had sex again only cos I pushed my partner he didnt want to bringbon Labour at 36 w and I told him it eill be fine and yep it was I didnt yave any pains this time. But I have been told sex does nring on labour its something to do with the mens sperm. But like they all say they will come when they are ready
It depends.. I was checked for dilation at 37 weeks and nothing.. Had sex about 2 times a day until my 38 week 1 day doctors appointment. I am now 2cm dilated.. But, I'm not in labor. I get contractions but they are irregular so.. Personally I don't think it will help just one time of having sex.. But maybe since you haven't had sex in 6 months it could help. Good luck
Yeah unfortunately he's one of those that's scared lmao instead of loving it ... But hopefully she'll be ready soon ... She hasn't even dropped yet neither ugh. I can't wait. These days need to go by fast
Tell your boyfriend sex is perfectly normal and people do say it helps but honestly if baby's ready they will let you know !!
