I'm 37 weeks and have recently started packing our hospital bags as well. I'm bringing baby's diaper bag (diaper cream, pacifier, multiple outfits in different sizes, hand sanitizer, burp cloths, receiving blankets, no scratch mittens, etc.) In my bag I have toothbrush and paste, deodorant, nursing bra, breast pads, lanolin cream, maternity robe and nightgown, sandals, chapstick, hair ties and bobby pins, cotton underwear, underwear liners, and some koolaid drink packets (I was told by a nurse to sprinkle this on ice chips during delivery). I need to pack my husband's bag to consist of snacks, a change of clothes, phone charger, and some change/dollar bills for the vending machines.

Also some socks since I wasn't a fan of the hospital, and some slippers to walk the hall in. I bought some 50 cent flip flops at Walmart to shower in as well. I think that's it!

I just had a csection 8/16. I brought nursing bras (if you plan on breastfeeding) a robe some comfy loose dresses to go home in, toiletries and hygiene products. The hospital basically provided everything else. Underwear and pads for me, diapers tshirt wipes. Bring a going home outfit for baby. If you're addicted to your phone like I am I suggest buy a 6 foot charger to reach your bed lol I had to charge mine across the room. A baby book to start writing in if you have one.

I started 3 weeks ago and I'm 37 weeks. My mom suggested bringing a pacifier just in case. You don't have to use it if you don't want to

Oh, and for daddy, he'll need snacks, refreshments, a phone charger (since he's always on it and kills the battery daily), headphones, pillows and blanket, change of clothes, morning supplies, and some one dollar bills. Anything I'm missing?

I'm having a c-section, so I'm packing some overnight things for shower and make ready. Also, burp cloth, blanket, clothes, nursing cover, etc. for baby. I still need a night gown, slippers, comfortable panties for wound area, and clothes for me depending what time my doc decides the cesarean should be. The hospital should provide diapers and wipes. The car seat will stay in the car.
