Please help :(

How can I make my partner feel better about not feeling baby yet? It seems like whenever he puts his hand on my belly our little man stops moving :/ it's making him quite upset.

My husband hardly ever felt our baby girl move. So I sort of had to show him where to put his hand and how much pressure to apply. I had to explain to him that he wasn't going to feel giants kicks (or not yet) they were tiny wave like movements. And after that he was a little releaved, but now that he can not only feel our baby girl's jujitsu but also see it, he feels kinda silly.

Ha I was more upset about hub y not feeling baby move than he was. He understood that eventually he would feel baby and now he feels him kicking or backflipping every day. This is our 4th baby and I felt selfish while he was like it's all good I will feel it eventually.

Feed him some concrete and tell him to harden up! Just kidding...a little... It is a pretty small, unfixable problem to get upset over. But nice that he cares. There's plenty of time and by the end the baby moves so much he'll probably be sick of it! He'll just have to wait.

Also I find I intuitively know where to put my hand and what pressure will more likely make baby move... My husband never gets the right spot or pressure so he has more luck if I place his hand in the right position and press how it needs to be pressed...

My little girl does the same thing. He finally felt a slight movement once. How far along are you? Just remember it won't be long and your little baby will be stretching and your man will be able to SEE him move. Also what works best for me is when I want to feel her move I won't let myself think about it. Keep breathing normal and focus on something else. Kind of like she can hear your thoughts. :)
