2nd degree burns on belly

I spilled a pot of boiling water on my bump lastnight, pretty bad burn. Should I be worried about this affecting my little one in any way? I'm 25 weeks

I burned my belly with an oven dish last week. Some skin came off and formed a scab. Looked a little infected yesterday so i cleaned it properly and put a bandaid on overnight. Looks much better today. Glad i am not the only one

I did the same thing my last pregnancy draining the water from potatoes.  It hurt and I had a spot on my belly that the skin rubbed off.  It healed in a few weeks and now I don't have a mark. Doctor looked at it each time to check for infection.  Just put aloe on it and keep moist.  I am so careful now, my belly keeps getting in the way.

Your baby is very well protected in there,i doubt very much it would have any effect but if youre worried go see your doctor and get checked over just for your own peace of mind
