33 weeks !

Why do you guys want to have your babies early and trying to induce your selves? I mean i want my son to be here with me in my arms but i rather him come late than early. Im in no rush my baby can cook in there as long as he wants lol

It is not terribly dangerous to go over 40 weeks. That's a myth.
i remember all the pressure in my stomach with my first 2. Waking up and asking them if they were coming out today.
My first was born 40 weeks 3 days.
My second was 39 weeks 2 days.
Both were healthy and fully cooked (I say that too). I was able to take them home with me without needing any special care. I want that for my third as well.
Here's a twist. My children are C-section deliveries. I can plan their birthdays and I still wait. Im hoping they will let me plan this one on my due date.

I deffinetly wouldn't want my little guy in there after 40 weeks because that can be just as dangerous if not more. I do although want him in till atleast 38 weeks. Kind of nervous because my first was 37 and he was totally fine but my doctor keeps telling me this one needs to stay in till next week, 36 weeks. I don't know why she thinks he's coming early. I haven't dilated at all but am a having painfull braxton hicks with lower pelvic preasure.

I have wondered the same thing! I am currently in the hospital and I have to be induced at 34 weeks. I would give anything to let my baby stay in there longer. Instead he will be in a NICU.. Its kind of irritating because I wish my baby could be a 40 weeker and then I see these moms that are inducing at 36 weeks. Baby isn't ready to come out that early.. Its lungs aren't even fully developed. But that's just my opinion
