Bacterial Vaginosis while pregnant

I'm 13 weeks and 4 days and I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. I was prescribed 500mg metronidazole 2x daily for a week and it didn't clear. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow to figure out what's going on and explore other options. Bv is dangerous to my unborn and I'm nervous..has anyone else ever went through this

Yes, I went through BV when I was 13 weeks and took the same antibiotics. It cleared after I took the antibiotics, but if yours didn't then they might have to try a different dosage for you. I've had bv many many times and most of the time, it didn't clear up or came back as soon as I stopped antibiotics. The best thing I have figured out is to try to prevent it by washing your underwear separately and not using fabric softer. Also, my doctor told me to sleep without underwear on because it can get warm and moist down there and cause the bacteria to grow, so you want to try to keep it as dry as possible. Hope you will figure out what works best for you!
