Bleeding at 6+4 weeks

I am not sure if I will be going through a MC. I guess I would like to hear from moms who continued a healthy pregnancy after bleeding and cramping some.
This morning I bled some into my underwear. Not just spotting but bright red blood dripping onto the floor. It was not nearly a pad full...but felt like a period starting. I felt a bit achy in my uterus. It stopped right away, only a few more drops went on the pad. I was surprised by it while in the city and could not go home right away but no further bleeding. My uterus is not cramping on and off but instead feels achy like it has been on many days throughout this pregnancy. I had an early MC on the 20th of July and conveived again on the 28th. I worry it might have been too soon and this pregnancy does not have a good chance. I still feel pregnant atm. What do you ladies think? Could it be some sort of breakthrough bleeding? I usually get my period around the full moon (no joke). I know it could still be a MC but I would love to hear positive stories or other theories of why I could have bled. Thank you!

Just wanted to update. During the scan everything was fine. We saw an embryo and no blood around it. I am likely a week earlier than I thought...at least I hope to see a heartbeat next time.
Still no bleeding. I was put on progesterone tablets and have had only spotting. I did have cramps all day yesterday though. Not a great feeling.

You aren't very far along yet, so anything is possibly. I had some pretty major spotting and I am 22 weeks now with a healthy babe. I do think it's wise to get checked out, but until then, just rest and keep track and try not to stress (the hardest part!)

Please get all your rest.. much as possible! Miscarriages suck so bad. Sounds like everything is ok though. You say color has changed and not much of any! Good luck hun. You'll be in my prayers!

Take it easy til your appointment.  I went through that with my last pregnancy and was told it was a threatened miscarriage and 50%of all pregnancies go through it. It's a last chance for your body to decide it's viable. Went full term and had a healthy baby girl. I'm pregnant again and had some brown blood this pregnancy which is good because that means it's old blood. So take it easy and keep an eye on this gs. If it starts bright red again, you can go in to the ER and have them check your cervix to make sure it's closed.  Keep drinking your fluids too!

Thanks! The bleeding stopped after that one incident and now I am having very very little brown discharge. I will see my OB for an US today.

Usually with miscarriages you pass a lot of blood clots if no blood clot it could be breakthrough bleeding from a period I would go to the doctor and get it checked out just to be safe good luck to you I will pray for the best I went through a m miscarriage too and it ***** but I believe everything happens for a reason if its not meant to be then maybe there's a reason it's not meant to be but I'm hoping for the best for you good luck to you and your family have a great day
