Caffeine addiction

So I'm not a smoker, a drinker or a drug user like at all but I have recently taken up an iced coffee addiction and I was wondering if it's really bad to drink a glass once a day?  I do have a weakness for soda however because my iced coffee addiction is more important I've substituted that for juice so I can have my iced coffee so I don't feel too guilty about all the caffeine.  And what's worse is I hate drinking water.... I know I have to but it's so hard.  Any advice?

I do agree on the coldness. That really does help. Or I eat cups of ice to get my water intake.

Well my dr told me one caffeine a day but I snuck two sometimes especially if I was having a migraine, I'm addicted to coke lol so I know your pain. And now that I'm breast feeding I still try and stick to the one can a day, it usually takes you drinking three or more cans of soda for baby to get any of that caffeine but some babies are more sensitive. Mine hasn't been having any problems with the one can a day. Have you tried putting a water bottle in the freezer? That's the only way I can tolerate the bottled water my mom buys, it has to be SUPER cold or else it makes my stomach churn :/

Oh and just slowly sip on water to see if that helps. I also set a goal. I have to drink a glass or bottle of water before I allow myself to have a sweet drink.

It is safe to drink 12 oz or less cup of a caffeinated drink a day. If u plan on breast feeding, I suggest you not drink coffee during that period. I know every baby is different but I only made that mistake once because she had an extremely upset stomach and couldn't sleep it off because of the caffeine.
