I will be having a baby shower sometime in Feb. I have a 1 yr old and my husband and I have been so blessed by family that we really do not need anything. Hus family is pretty well off and the shower for my son got us thousands of dollars worth of stuff, we have everything. This time around for this shower I don't want gifts so I was thinking of asking everyone to donate the money they would spend on a gift to charity instead and just come celebrate with us. Could anyone give me a few names of some charity's in Canada that help expecting single mothers?
