I finally filed for retro child support from 2008 to 2016, my kids dad has had them for only a month and he wants child support from me and I'm just starting my 8th month. We are in court now and I'm assuming he will have to submit his financial statements of income and expenses. Then it a percentage of what he has after his financials are looked over by a judge

Search the internet for how to file for child support in Texas. I think different states might have different processes but there are places that can help you file either way. Good luck with everything

He can go to jail or do to him whatever they want that will be good for him.. He so disrespectful and as putting him on childsupport do I have to go to court or just have to call welfare and told them that?

My friends ex husband went to jail for failure to pay both ex wives child support even though at the court they both begged for the judge to release him. This is CA...

If your ex bf is that abusive and doesn't do what the court orders for his kids, he deserves what he gets.

It varies by state, but they will look at his income and give a figure. If he fails to pay, the state will go after him. My father even had his drivers license revoked due to nonpayment at one point.

In wisconsin it is 23% of his income. Depends on how much he makes. Don't know if the percent is different state to state tho
