The new focus should be on maintaining strength, balance exercises, and light cardio. Please don't try too drop weight actively. It's great to stay active, but not with the goal of losing weight. I hope I just misread what you said?
Thank you. I've stopped working out since I found out I was pregnant (2wks ago). I too am very active but have been feeling somewhat weird about working out this early on in my pregnancy. I'll resume partial activity after next week's doc visit.
I feel much better now
I am currently 21 weeks and have only gained 1 pound im staying active during my pregnancy but only because I was very active before. I waited til after my 1st trimester to start working out again. I walk, squat, push ups, leg lift many excerises are good just don't do any that involve being on your back. Also eating healthy is very important.
