Disability

Hello Ladies,

Question im 14 weeks work 2hrs from home get very sick car sick have been dehydrated 2x and have spotted i feel like i cant bare to go to work that far any longer. Oo i also have Diabetes do you ladies think i will qualify for disability?

Couldn't you temporarily stay with someone who lives closer to work to avoid the carsickness? I'd save my short term disability and all FMLA for after baby arrives.  Employer is only required to hold your job for 12 wk max. I wouldn't waste that if you need your job.   If you're able & planning to quit after baby arrives maybe you could find a part time job closer to home right now.

I don't believe you can be on disability unless you are expected to be disabled for at least a year.  I was put on unpaid leave from work for 6 weeks from a shoulder injury and was denied unemployment and disability!

Nope. Your doc will likely tell you to drink more water. Your nausea will likely fade any time now, it's a normal pregnancy symptom not a disability.
