It really depends if ur cervix is open or ripened already mine was not so when I got Induced they had to give me cervdil insert and I started that around 5 pm and around 4 am I started to feel light contractions then at 10 am they started pitcion and within an hr I started feel them get stronger and around 6 pm they got really strong but I was only 4 cm and staying that way till I finally got the epidural at 5 am and then at 8 am it was time to push they turns the epidural off so I felt it all was a tough labor for me BC I had to stay in bed BC my baby's fluid was low and they thought I would have to have a csection but no me and the baby were both strong and don't stress its not what you expe t it to be yes it is very painful but its a different kind of pain its for something not because your sick or injured I hope u have a safe and wonderful delivery good luck
