Dr's appt.

Is it normal to spot days after a vaginal exam for a cervix check? I've been having very light spotting that comes and goes. Today when I wiped once it was a string of blood the length of my fingernail. I also have been having braxton hicks and a little pressure when I walk ever since. I tried Google but I'm here now for answers??

I think this could be normal. Everything is so sensitive with increased blood flow down there. I know after my pap smear at the beginning of pregnancy I spotted for a few days and was told that is common.  I've had my cervix checked twice now (38 weeks) and had increased discharge afterwards both times. But your symptoms could be coincidental too.  You could be losing your mucus plug and getting closer to labor :)
