What is a safe age to take a baby on a road trip?

My sister is getting married in Missouri on June 2nd. My baby is due March 10th. I would have to leave a little over a week before the wedding to make it down there via car. I was just wondering what everyone thought was the safe age to travel with a baby and was safe age to have a baby around a large group of people (like a wedding) would be?

We drove from Missouri to NY when my son was two weeks old. He did great. Lots of stops to eat and diaper change

Hi! Honestly is not easy travel with a newborn and how many hours drive? I will say ask the pediatric before you do and my personal opinion only is not safe to have a newborn surrender by bunch of people for health issues babies are very delicate at that age  , but that's my personal opinion you are your best judge as far your kid safety.
Good luck and I would check with the doctor first .

You can technically take them anytime. Just depends on how many stops you want to make. The younger they are the more stops. Also depends on the child. My daughter screamed a whole 12 hours and my son slept through.
