Feeling sad after pregnancy

A part of me thought I would have my life back after giving birth, but are just as hard as before. My 21 month old and my six week old drives me crazy. I find myself in a blank stair alot just thinking.  I just want to leave the house for a few hour and have alone time. My 6 week old crys so much am thinking about taking her to the E.R if i can't wait til her appointment.

Have you told your doc about how your feeling? My daughter is only a week old and I'm already taking medication for post partum depression. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you haven't yet.

My first two children were that close to each other. It is important for you to be able to have time for yourself.  Ask your partner or family members to help out with the kids when you find yourself becoming overwhelmed

So sorry to hear what you're going through. I find myself feeling like I'm going crazy with my 13mth old and also expecting #2. I'm struggling with all day nausea and fatigue. But Be strong and hopefully this stage will pass. Try to find someone who can help you even just for a few hours, or just someone to talk to. Taking time out for yourself is very important. Wishing you all the best.

I completely understand. With my first he had reflux and a tongue tie so I had to pump milk for the first 6 weeks. And I would sit in a blank stare and I felt like I was no longer a person.  I was just a mother. But it is important to keep your identity! Try to get enough sleep. Also make sure your 6 week old is ok health wise. It may be reflux.
