Food cravings

Is frosting ok during pregnancy?

I ate pan dulce (sweet bread) & it had pink frosting with sprinkles. But I looked up online & some people say that frosting is made of raw eggs idk if it's true.

Well usually if something has raw eggs in it they are pasterized. Like cesar dressing has raw eggs, I asked my Dr if it was safe and she said yes its completely fine. As long as you dont start to get sick your ok. Incase u do get sick dont hold off going to the dr. But it should be fine.

Frosting from the store out of the container is just fine. I have vanilla in my fridge that i have sometimes as a treat lol. I dont know about homemade frosting.. not sure how its made.

Homemade frosting usually doesn't contain raw eggs so you should be good there too. (Usually just butter, sugar, confectioner's sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla, maybe sometimes cream cheese)
