plus size c-section

I'm a bigger girl and have what they call a "B" belly. I just recently had my son via c-section on Monday. I'm having trouble keeping the wound dry and its starting to burn and hurt a lot. Do any of you have any advice that might be able to help? Please let me know.

Those long maxi pads you were given at the hospital? After you take a shower and wash it, towel dry it then take one of those pads, Fold it in half longways, pad side out and lift your swollen belly softly and place that folded corner up against the wound. Helps keep the area dry and prevents infection, and catches any blood, pus, anything!

Wash with a washcloth and soap, rinse with a clean wet washcloth, and blot with a brand-clean towel, then swab with white vinegar and blot again.  Then rub some Neosporin or Polysporin on.
