Any thing cold or with a little sugar sends my baby boy into doing flips in my belly! Cold orange slices really get him going!! He is a nightowl and doesnt do a ton of movements during the day. I am pretty active then and have been told the movements can make our little ones fall asleep because they are soothing. I can also lay down on the floor and once I relax he will start moving.  Just have to figure out what your little angel likes.   Im sure your bundle of joy is doing great! If you are a first timer like me...then youve probably got really accustomed to asking questions.  Better to ask your doctor and be safe I think!! But good luck and many blessings to you and your baby!! :)

If your babies movements are alot less than usual you should always be checked out, could be nothing but it could also be a sign babys not happy. There is no harm in asking and being safe than sorry.

I've heard when your baby is not as active on some days they may be going thru a growth spurt as well. Just take an hour or 2 and lay on your left/right side to count movements. Hopefully the cold drink of something will help too.
