Heavy bleeding

I am 6 weeks pregnant and have had heavy bleeding 3 different times in 1 week. I have been to the hospital twice and to my OB once during all this and all say that baby is fine and we have a heartbeat but they call it a threatend miscarriage. Has anyone else experienced heavy bleeding and still went through to have a healthy pregnancy? I am worried it will eventually lead to a miscarriage but having hope that everything will be ok.

I'm sure they have already told to you to be on bed rest but if not that's a good place to start. My sister had this and it turned out that she had a pocket of blood next to baby and it was that that was causing her to bleed but she went to full term had a healthy child who is now a four year old pain in the butt :). Fingers crossed everything works out fine for you x

They have been doing blood work everytime I go and my HCG levels are still climbing up.. They do pelvic exams and everything. They say there is a 50% chance I can miscarry but that's just cause I am bleeding but they can't tell me anything else.

I am hoping everything is ok.. Doctors can not find out why I am bleeding.. It will only come heavy and bright red for about 5 minutes and I will pass some clots and then it is done and then I will just spot and thats it. The spotting is constantly but only see it when I wipe and it is light pink. Everytime it happens the Dr. says everything looks good with my ultrasound so I am reassured everything is good but still really scared. I have had a lot of caffine and taking Asprin and bayer back and body and goodies headache powders but as soon as I found out I was pregnant I stopped taking all that along with no more sodas.
