Help

Am 3& half mnths pregnant...not able to take calcium & iron tablets as am vomiting with its intake.What is the alternate way to have these supplements?please help

Have them when going to bed. And elevate the head part of your bed so you not sleeping straight. It also helps to take it with your favourite juice or chew a sugar free mint free gum

For calcium eat a handful of raw almonds every day (also will help with constipation). Broccoli and sesame seeds are also very high in calcium. For iron, eat dates (6 per day), raisins, spinach, kale and any dark green leafy veggies. Try juicing them with fruit if you find it hard to eat enough. I take iron supplement in liquid form...it's a natural, plant based one do is easier to digest I find. Called Floravital by floradix. Expensive but worth it. There is also a brand called spa tone but imve never tried it. The hardest thing to get enough of from food sources alone during pregnancy is folate so if you can only take one supplement make sure it's got folic acid in it.

What do you take them with? I used to take them with water and would be sick. Now i take them with juice and its better.

I couldn't take them with out getting sick either so I just started taking them before bed. Like right before bed & i don't get sick now
