I don't know what to do

So yesterday my underwear was soaking wet, and later that night I started having contractions. I actually woke up to contractions. All through the day I've repeatedly felt like I needed to go to the bathroom but couldn't. Horrible cramps. I call the doctor and I couldn't get a hold of anybody ! I called layer and finally got a hold of a very nice doctor who told me to go to the hospital. I get nervous about going to hospitals to get checked out because nurses are usually very rude to be because I'm a younger mother. They take urine and check to see of my water had broken. I'm currently 24 weeks. I start to tell the nurse some of my concerns and she says "we don't deal with that here" and they hook me up to a monitor and I see my contractions, they were irregular. And they tell me my water hadn't broken. So I'm watching the baby's heart rate and it shoots in the 200s, it got up to 212. So I send my friend to ask the nursed and they say they're watching me. Another women comes in, older asked married with the same issues as me. An hour after me, and she gets very well treatment, they gave her results before mine and discharged her before me. The nurse made rude comments to me. She gave me ask n.n exam and yelled at me to relax when I'm tensed up, but I'm was in pain. But since my water hadn't broken and my contractions weren't regular I was discharged. She never checked to see if I was dilated or not. She just used the q tip test. I feel very blown off and I have a doctors appointment in a few days. Should I just take it easy till then ?

Report that nurse to the head of staff at the hospital. People skills are part of her job. I am a young mum & my hospital is lovely no judgements. I had a friend's little sister go to the same hospital & she was extremely young, they were still lovely. you shouldn't be made to feel or treated any differently based on your age.

I was 20 when I had my daughter, but looked younger and I felt judged by people too..I think sometimes when you are young you are too polite and can be walked over..so I understand..but contractions wise I had totally irregular contractions with my daughter. They started mild and exactly 7 mins apart and as they got stronger they would be a few seconds apart and then a gap but no pattern..i was 9 cms when I got to the hospital and so I say trust your instincts :)

That's so rude on the nurses part. Since ur contractions are irregular, they may be BH contractions. Since you were discharged, I m guessing dere shouldn't be anything majorly wrong. But its best to talk to ur doctor and get a second opinion and be sure that everything is fine. All d best!

Thats insane! Cal and talk to your doctor. Tell him or her ur experience and see if they feel u need to be seen again before ur appt. And take someone else with u to ur appt. That way u have a witness, and someone to speak up for when ur not able to.

Then she took the monitor off and said "it's not accurate" so what's going on with the baby's heart rate then ?
