So I had my baby a week ago n to everyone surprise my baby came out really white with color eyes and her hair is very light you cant even see her eyebrow or eyelashes and my bf and I are both Hispanic neither of us look like that but my mom does and has green/hazel eyes and his mom looks pretty white too so I see where my baby gets it from but I'm starting to get tired of everyone's little comments about are u sure he's the father.. It's starting to get pretty annoying with the jokes I'm just rolling my eyes at them now

I thought I was Gona have a Mexican looking baby lol but surprisingly my daughter looks white my bf and I are light skinned but we don't have light hair or color eyes, my bf is the jealous type I'm glad people's comments don't get to him knowing him, and wow it's crazy how many of us go through this

I'm white my husband Mexican our first son came out blonde hair in hazel eyes in white his only 1 so his hair color can change my newborn has black hair hazel eye in very tan after I had my newborn my husband said are you sure the first one is mine.

Wow that's amazing, and even my brother came to my house today and said something about it i was like well she obviously gets it from our mother !!!  But yea I'm just not going to pay mind to it anymore bc obviously ppl  are going to keep saying something about it ...  At least everyone says she's beautiful

My husband is half Mexican and I'm Irish/dutch/English. Our first child has brown hair and brown eyes and looks just like daddy but our second has blue eyes, very blonde hair and looks just like my side of the family. They don't even look like brothers and they have the same parents. We get comments about it a lot. Genetics are interesting! Can't wait to find out what number 3 looks like. :) try not to let it bother you. People will always make rude comments about stuff.

when rude people ask you the stupid question of "why does your baby look like that?" you should simply respond with "well, why do you look like that?" and wait for their dumbfounded response.

Don't worry about the comments. When I had my first 7 years ago my son came out very white with straight hair and I an brown skin African American and my husband is Carmel African American. I got the same comments. When I would be out with my son I would get asked "is his father white"? Or when he was out with him, he would get asked the same question. My son is still yellow, but is his dad's identical twin. My husband is mixed with a third of white and my mother in law is half white and very yellow like my son. So yes, genetics plays a bug roll. I wonder what color our son in December will be.

Genetics are amazing as someone said, my daughter is very light blonde with bright blue eyes. My husband has very very dark hair with hazel eyes, and his entire side of the family is dark as well. I was born the same as her and so was my Dad. So all of our baby pictures are identical lol. She is over a year and I still get asked the same exact thing. It is annoying! I'm so glad I am not the only one in this boat, obviously one side of the genes are stronger. :)

Aw I'm sure she's a cutie idk why ppl gotta be so judgemental I never I would go through this at first I would laugh about it but now it's like ok it's getting annoying yes I know who my baby daddy is lol

Yeah it was like that for me too! My nationality is Spanish and Asian.  My husband black n Creole...my daughter came out looking like a full on asian with pretty hair.his fily says r u sure that's your baby.  He knew it was his.  He new my genes are stronger.  Any Asian decent is.  Well as my baby got older she started to look like the both of us.  She has long pretty curls.  Due from her dad side.  And of course my Asian eyes. And has his skin tone. A little chocolate.  Every one that sees her calls her a China doll.  My daughter is one of a kind.

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone n me n him both have a lot of family members that look like that so its not a shocker why my baby looks like that , like today I went to the doctor with my bf and he was doing everything n I saw the doctor keep staring back and forth at him and her looking kind of confuse I know what she was thinking lol cause she said something about he's the father right -_-

Lol, genitics plays a strong roll, your mom and baby have the same skin and eye tone... down the line in your family and his family you could have a white person with blonde hair and blue eyes...

Just ignore them, yea its annoying, trust me... my son is the spitting image of me and my daughter is the spitting image of her dad except she has greenish blueish eyes... which runs in both mine and his family... and i still get asked are u sure that they belong to the same father... are u sure blah blah blah... my sons 7 my daughter is 1.

Pigment takes time to set in. My son is half Filipino and was born looking like a white baby but now he's much tanner than I am and has dark brown hair, while I have light features. People made jokes when he was first born as well. Ignore those people, it's not worth getting upset over.

I've been asked like a million times why does she look like that I'm getting tired of saying bc my mom looks like that ... -__- & thanks n yes she's soooo beautiful everyone falls in love with her I look at her can't believe she's mines lol

Genetics are amazing, and when it comes to physical traits they can be very complicated. I would keep rolling my eyes or say she takes after her grandmother. By the way, she sounds absolutely beautiful and congratulations

Oh goodness I know how you feel! Me and my husband are Hispanic but we both have very light skin and our son came out surprisingly tan. Now that he is getting bigger his skin is lightening up now he looks so different. She will change and change, people will always have something to say.
