Masturbation and oral sex question

So I am really curious about two things, after dilivering doctors always advice to stay away from sex because of course our bodies need to heal. But what about masturbation and oral sex? It does not have to involve anything going inside the vagina which is exactly what the doctors don't want due to risk of infections and other complications. So what do you ladies think? Is masturbation and oral sex also bad during those six weeks waiting time? Has anyone done either or both during that waiting time and is it better to just try not to think about it and just wait the 6 weeks recommended to do anything that's sex related?

I would say go for it!! Lol. but I'm not a Dr. I know when I had a csection while I was still in the hospital I was trying to get my man to give it up... He wouldn't cuz obviously the drs said no and he was afraid we would get caught lol. I don't think outside stimulation would cause probs unless u tore a lot or something. Ask ur Dr.

Well I was just thinking about that the other day, as of right now the sex life with my husband still pretty good and he is not at all turned off by my growing belly, I'm currently 22 weeks and I even think it's so sweet how when we get to it he always caresses my belly first and then we go from there. After I deliver our son I know sex won't really be a problem for him at least because he loves getting oral and I enjoy doing it to him as well as masturbating him (sorry if that's too much info) but the problem will be for myself since even if we try not to we still human and we also have needs and while trying to please them we can't help but to also want to feel something too. So that's why I was wondering if masturbation and oral sex was also an option for us women while waiting the 6 weeks.

Well you're the most fertile after delivery. I know when I've had my other kids I didn't even think about sex until after I was healed and I waited the full 6 weeks. Some women are different though.
