Maternity leave??

i was just curious when people tend to go on maternity leave? I'm studying my degree and working in a busy bar/club alongside that which is constant walking up and down for good 8 hour shifts each time with no break' I'm 19, and 35 weeks pregnant and I panic because I don't want my waters braking at work ect! I'm doing both days and night shifts which lead to 2am :( any advice is much appreciated! Thank you x

I ended up working til 4 days before I had my son, but he was 2 days late. I didn't want to waste my maternity leave sitting around. I'm a barista, so I know how being on your feet for 8 hours can take its toll. Take it easy and don't push yourself!

@Rozalynnsmommy, I'm doing the same thing. The longer I hold out before leaving, the more time I have with my little one! And also, if I time it out right, I won't have to go back to work until after Christmas. (Purely selfish on my part)
So I'm going down with the ship.
