natural for sure. im a ftm and yeah im nervous for the whole process but our bodies were made for this and unless you have an actual medical reason to have a c section i don't understand why you would choose to have a major surgery.

I had a vaginal birth of my son, I also had 4th degree tearing. I'm going to have a second vaginal birth with this baby, I hope I don't need a c-section! I would never choose that! Our bodies were made to vaginally deliver babies and there are leas risks involved (unless c-section is necessary or an emergency of course) but electively choosing it? Why?

I would never choose a c section unless it must be done.. vaginal birth is the natural way and it is the best for both of you!! And if you are lucky you will not even tear so the recovery will be maximum 6weeks;)

Natural for sure! I had to have an emergency c section with my first and it took ages to completly heal, I'd say about 6 months maybe even more before the tenderness went completly away still now it feels numb 2 years later. The actual scar though healed quite quickly. Having a c section is major surgery all your stomach muscles get cut in half and if you don't exercise properly after it can be quite damaging. That's my opinion anyway and you heal ALOT faster natural... goodluck x

I'm an ftm so I haven't been through either yet, and I've heard mixed reviews on c-sections, I think it jus depends on the individual and how their body is. When I was younger I thought I would prefer a c-section cuz I didn't want to have all that pain in my nether regions plus I watched my mom give vaginal birth to my bro when I was 11 and it was a bit scary, but in recent years I've only heard about how vaginal birth isn't that bad so maybe it jus looked worse than it actually was and now the more I've thought about it I feel like healing and everything would be quicker and probably less painful in the long run w/vaginal because that's the "natural" way to do it, u know, c-sections have only been around for x amount of years. But hey I'm not a Dr.
