I had both my girls natural. The second one at home. Was an amazing experience made me feel so strong. The body is amazing and just remember you can do it. Breathing through my contractions helped me and also I used a hand held massager on my lower back for each contraction which really broke up the pain. Good luck it is a great experience.

I'm wanting to do natural with no pain medication or epidural everyone in my family that has done it natural said it hurts like terrible period cramps times 100 but after a while you kind of go numb (at the pushing stage) and as soon as the baby is out the pain stops. They told me to focus on getting the baby out and stay calm. Good luck!

Ive had 2 natural and second was 9lb 12oz!!! Im not gonna lie I found the pain excruciating but the experience itself was amazing and I will alwsys be proud of myself. I used gas and air which really helped me control my breathing. About half way through I hit a point where I almost gave in and began to lose it but once I got over that I was fine. You can do it!

I've done it several times and will do it again. Find a relaxation technique that you are comfortable with. For me, I hate lamaze.  I don't recommend it at all. I prefer meditation and hypnobirthing.  Research different methods and are what you prefer. Practice them when you have Braxton Hicks contractions.
Relaxing and breathing through labor is key. Your body knows what to do. Don't fight it. Don't try to control it or tense up. That's what makes the pain far worse.
I always picture my self on a beach when a contraction comes. I see the waves lapping the sand. When the wave rolls in, I breath in deep. As it rolls out, I breath out slowly. Your body knows what to do. It will do all the work. Just trust it and let it happen.

I had my first baby natural. It wasn't by choice I had one of those fast and quick pregnancies that take no time to get the baby out so there wasn't any time for me to get any pain meds. But I can say that it was probably the best thing I could have done. I was up and walking around afterwards. It does hurt but the pain goes away immediately after the baby is born and you just get numb. Going natural is smart and it doesn't take long for you to heal. I loved the experience and I too fell a lot stronger as a woman.

I want to go natural but you need a very strong support system with you.   I don't think my hubby (as amazing as he is)  could be there for me in the way I would need him.   Last time , you would think he was the one in labor... I had to hold his hand lol

I tried it with my first son and my god i couldnt do it. I yelled for meds lol. I can honestly say in my heart that im ready. Ive built enough courage and saw enough videos. Its such a amazing thing to witness. Mrskis4 i agree a strong support system will definitely be helpful. Thankful to have one this time. Including you guys :)

I had my two first kids natural, in mexico they do not offer pain medication. My first girl was easy i started contractions at 9pm and she was born at 11:30 i would give that pain a number 7. But with my 2nd baby i was more then 24 hours on labor the pain was indescriptible if they would offer me anything i would take it but i just have to stay strong no choice there. My 3rd one i open my mind and i decided to go as it comes i was induced and at 4.5cm i could not handle the pain anymore and i chose for the epidural then i could relax and be strong for the pushing time. I was 14 hours in labor. I will say you are the only one who can measure the pain. Just do not close the door to the options. Good luck :-)
