Should I check into a hospital?

37weeks and 4 days today. I took tqo table spoons of castor oil, because I heard it induces labor. I've been getting contractions that are 2-4 minutes apart for almost an hour now. They're not hurting. And because my boyfriend is at work, I dont want to bother him if nothing is serious, so I'm not sure if I should check in to a hospital or should I wait till they start hurting? Help! I'm a ftm so i don't really know what to do. Thanks!

I got an ok from my doctor, because I was suppose to be getting induced on Sunday morning. he thought it was fine that I took castor oil. & my boyfriend wanted to be the one to take me. I have other options too... My mom is just right down the street from me, so i could just call her. Thanks love.

I don't understand why you would want to induce labour at 37 weeks? Ecspecially if your partner is at work? That just doesn't make sense to me at all, you will have to call your midwife

Well, you could wait another hour and see what happens. If they go away then you should just stay home but if they get worse or you feel pressure (like you have to poop) then go to the hospital.
