Spotting after cervix check

So I went to the doctor on Wednesday  at 36wks 4days, had my streb b test and she checked my cervix.  I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced. I haven't had really any contractions or pains before being checked.  However, that evening i kept getting some pressure pains and slight cramps.  Then earlier today (Thursday) i went to pee and had a slight brown stain in my panties. .the kind that is with pee not poop lol. Anyway,  i wiped and had a very tiny blood clot. So my question, has anyone else experienced something similar with   having pains, spotting, or even labor start after being checked?

Thank you,  i wasn't warned and it did get me nervous.  i think I'm going to ask to not be checked for my 37th week.

Yes its normal. On sat. they checked my cervix for the first time and every time I peed I had a little bit of blood when I wiped. The nurse had warned me about it so I wouldn't get scared. It should go away in 24 hours.
