My babygirl is HERE!(: Sorry it's a LONG story...

So ladies sorry I didn't update y'all but I was induced on October 4th but didn't start the pitocin until I was going to have her October 5th. I checked in at 6pm at the hospital. From the time I was there I was only 1.5cm dilated. I told the nurses from the start I didn't want the epidural right away 'cause my original plan was to go all the way WITHOUT it. They were very supportive. So they gave me a medicine to soften my cervix. Overnight, I only dilated 1/2 a cm and hardly felt the contractions due to the med which I didn't mind. In the morning they started the pitocin which boosted my contractions so I can dilate. When they broke my water bag the contractions were SO intense. I was in pain 'cause I went from 2cm to 9 in less than a two hour period. When I couldn't take it anymore I asked for the epidural 'cause I couldn't take that pain anymore. After they gave me the epidural I felt two more intense contractions and that was it. The nurse checked me and told me I got it just in time 'cause I was 9cm. I didn't know I dilated that quickly. She told me that's why you were in so much pain. I fell asleep cause I barely slept the night before due to the nurses having to come in and move the monitors around cause my daughter kept switching positions. I started pushing when it was time and I only did TEN PUSHES and she was out. My boyfriend who's the father, my mom, and my sister were in the delivery room with me. They were very supportive!(: I ended up having my daughter vaginal!(: My bf ended up cutting the umbilical cord and was so happy he got to. My sister and mom shedded a tear and my bf couldn't stop smiling and almost cried too. I had a 1st degree tear which I didn't even know 'cause the epidural worked so GREAT lol. From the time I was fully admitted and got everything situated, I lasted 16 hours without the epidural. My doctor was proud of me and how long I lasted and to be completely honest SO AM I!(: I'm glad I got to have that experience.

October 5th was the best day of mine and my bf's lives 'cause we finally have our daughter in our arms!(: She weighed 6lbs 13oz, was 19 3/4in long, and her name is Alana!(:

I don't regret how I chose to do it. I just wonder how my pushing would be. In the future I totally want to go all the way without getting it no matter what but for now Im okay with my one

Congrats♡ do u wish u wouldn't have gotten the epidural knowing u were already ready to push? Just curious. My first was all natural, but that's because labor was fast. My second I had an epidural but labor was intense. I plan on one this time but idk. Congrats♡
