Unplanned pregnancy

This was a surprise, I was on birth control. I already took abortion off the table. My boyfriend and I have only been together for two months. We aren't financially ready for a child...seperately. Together I think we can be happy. But he is in panic mode right now and wants an abortion. Keep in mind he found out yestersay. Gas anyone had this issue? Did your boyfriend come around in the end? Bottom line is if I have to be a single mom I will be. I have family and friends who would support me. I feel like he is seriously just in shock.

My boyfriend and I were only together for around 6 months when we found out that we were expecting a baby. At first he was scared and in shock and wanted an abortion, when I put up a fight he said that it would be him or the baby and that he didn't want anything to do with the baby. I just kept my stand on not having an abortion and wanting to be together with him. It took some time but he came around and now we are 24 days from my due date and he could not be happier that we are about to bring our baby boy to the world. If things are meant to be then he will come around and be there and support you and your baby.

My oldest sister got pregnant with her first when she was on birth control.  Her boyfriend wanted her to get an abortion as well.  She didn't and eventually he did come around.  They are now married and have three kids.  Hope everything goes well for you.

Me and my partner had planned to start having kids yet even when we found out I was pregnant, after months or trying, I cried with fear and he almost did too! We even sat down and discussed our options as it was quite bad timing. Took him a long time to actually realise we were having a baby and for it to sink in. Men will be men! He should come around to it.

He probably is in shock. Give him time. And if he doesn't come around then do the single mom thing.
